A Day Off ----Yaaaay!!!

It seems silly little jobs are taking about 3 times longer than they should lately .... so today we did NO JOBS at all!!  We hit the road, going nowhere in particular.

We went to the west side of the state, near the border, and headed north.  We came to a dirt road with a sign that said Eufaula Wildlife Refuge and decided to check it out.  The refuge covers about 4 counties on both sides of the Chattahoochee.  We crossed a little creek and came to a locked gate, the end of the road....BUT we did see this little guy, just enjoying the sunshine

Next we saw a sign that said Rood Creek Park...

this time the little dirt road took us to this beautiful park -

sooo pretty, wished I had a picnic lunch!

We stopped at Providence State Park - then drove through a couple of little towns before heading home.

A very nice day----
