So we have arrived at our winter destination a couple of days ago. We got caught in some snow and slippery roads in Indiana. (Mom was ready to get a motel). We both had some minor problems with our vehicles ~ Bob was in the pick-up ~ Jeri, Mom and kitties in the Envoy. Thankfully we were being watched over and made it through a couple of scary situations without a scratch.
This morning we went out in the backyard and picked up this bowl of pecans.
Pecan pie anyone???
This evening we went out for an early dinner to celebrate New Year's Eve and now we just waiting for the ball to drop. With a couple of hours to go several people in the neighborhood are already shooting off fireworks.
